ROCHESTER - James "Jim" Clyde Riley, 78, of Rochester, died on Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Rochester Manor surrounded by his family. Jim was born in Farmington April 4, 1937, to James A Riley and Glenna Edgerly.
Jim was a business owner in Georgia and New Hampshire; he always enjoyed his work and only retired when his health declined. He had a passion for carpentry and an incredible knack for fixing anything. An avid outdoorsman to the core, Jim loved every aspect of the Live Free or Die state. In truth Jim had more hobbies and talents than there is room to list. He was a very hard working man and a true gentleman, when Jim said something he did so with meaning, he sealed a deal with a handshake or in his wife's case a kiss and always kept his word. He was a wonderful father who taught compassion, honesty and unconditional love. He will be missed and forever in our hearts until we meet again.
Jim was predeceased by his son James Riley and survived by his wife Lisa Riley of Rochester; his son Michael Riley; his three daughters Megan Riley, Misty Riley, and Linda Weidenfeller and his son-in-law Glen Weidenfeller; stepson Corey Hardesty; his granddaughter Tara Weidenfeller Homza and grandson Grayson Katwick; and his cousin Gail Richards (Ronald).
