ROCHESTER - James "Eddie" Henderson, 87, went home to be with God Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at the Langdon Place of Dover following a period of failing.
Born May 1, 1928, in Rochester, N.H., he was the son of the late Roland Henderson and Evelyn (Littlefield) Parshley.
Mr. Henderson served in the Army during the Korean War and later worked for 32 years at Spaulding Fibre in Rochester. He was a member of the Emmanuel Advent Christian Church in Rochester for 40 years and loved his church family.
Eddie enjoyed traveling around the country, trips to Nova Scotia, Canada with his wife Caroline; camping, riding his motorcycle, card games, horse shoes, playing his guitar, and many memorable games of pool with his friends and grandsons.
Members of family include his late wife Caroline (Abbott) Henderson, his son James Henderson, of Rochester, N.H.; daughter Debra Corbett and her husband Paul of Rochester, N.H.; his two grandchildren Jim and Ryan Corbett; and two great grandchildren Eli and Eden Corbett.
