ROCHESTER - James Locke, of Farmington, died Thursday, September 14, 2017, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; his children, Joyce Locke, Terry Brewer and her husband, Newell, and Brian Locke and his wife, Angela, and his grandchildren, BethAnn, Devon, Gene, Brittany, Grace and Eric. Also surviving him is his sister Mary Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eva and Clarence Locke, and his wife, Susan (Horne) Locke.
James began his military career shortly after high school and traveled the world with his wife Susan, and their growing family. After leaving the military he began a career as a magician performing in many locations and forming a multi-generational act with his son, Brian and grandson, Devon.
He encouraged and helped Susan in fostering many children throughout their time. After Susan's passing he remarried with Elizabeth and forged ahead forming new interests, including his recent interest in Native American culture focusing on his Mick Mack heritage and attending many local pow-wows
