BARRINGTON - James "Jim" Perron, 58, died on July 19, 2022, due to melanoma cancer.

Jim was the son of Norman and Rita Perron of Somersworth. Jim was an outstanding athlete, excelling in football, basketball, and baseball, and was recently inducted into the Somersworth High School Sports Hall of Fame.

Jim graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a degree in Mathematics. He started his career at General Electric before moving on to Prime Tanning and finally Union Specialties, where he was an export manager.

Jim was happily married to his wife, Maureen, for over 33 years. They lived in Barrington and were blessed with 3 wonderful children. Jim was a loving husband and extremely proud father.

He loved singing; his specialties were Christmas carols and the Canadian national anthem. Jim looked forward to spending time with his close-knit family at the lake and beach. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing his favorite course at the Samoset Resort during annual family vacations.

Jim is survived by his wife Maureen (Towne) Perron, his son Jake Perron and fiancée Stephanie Finch, his son Shane Perron and fiancée Ashley Palomeque, and his daughter Mallory Perron. He also leaves his mother Rita Perron, sister Denise Perron and her husband John Dionne, brother Bob Perron and his wife Deb Hyland, and sister Lisa Rasmussen. He was loved by Maureen's family: Arlene Towne, Shelley and Tad Shimabukuro, Dean and Dee Towne, and Darlene Daigle. He will also be missed by his Hilltoppers Class of '82 friends and honorary members, the Barrington friends, his work family, and especially his dog, Kacie.

Jim was predeceased by his father Norman and brother-in-law Mark Rasmussen.
