BARRINGTON - Jesse E. Sherrill of Barrington died while working a construction detail guarding a highway road project along Interstate 95 in the City of Portsmouth on October 28, 2021.

Born August 2, 1977 in Exeter, to Richard and Jeanne Sherrill.

Jesse was a dedicated public servant and a consummate family man. He truly lived for moments with his family and was defined by the dedication that he provided to them, as well as to his community, and everyone that crossed his path.

During the times that Jesse was not working to protect the State of New Hampshire, he could be found escaping to the family camp in the north country for snowmobiling; finding a special fishing spot; or camping throughout New England. Aside from the many interests that Jesse had, he was at his best when with his children and family. He thrived as a father in his roles as a dance dad or as a dedicated baseball coach. His wife, Nicolle, often referred to him as "Super-Man," as he routinely raised the bar in everything he did. Jesse humbly excelled in all aspects of life.

Jesse is survived by his wife Nicolle and their children, Peyton and Quinn; his brother and his wife, Corey and Meaghan, and their children, Grace and Mason; and parents Richard and Jeanne. Any monetarial contributions may be made to The Barrington Youth Association or The Seacoast Pirates Baseball.

The family takes comfort in knowing that he is now supporting us in a new way along with Mum Mum, Aunt Moe, Uncle Mike and Great Grandma.

Family and friends are encouraged to attend a celebration of life for Jesse E. Sherrill on November 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Southern New Hampshire University Arena at 555 Elm Street in Manchester.
