ROCHESTER - Jessie A. Fader, 90, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Colonial Hill following a period of declining health. She was born in Madison on Feb. 26, 1928, the daughter of Byron and Jessie (Hurd) Fickett.
She had been employed as a Barr Stitcher at Millier Shoe.
She was involved with the Rochester District PTA, the Great Bay Snow Rollers, Girl Scouts. She enjoyed ceramics, knitting and photography.
Survivors include her husband John Fader Jr. of Rochester; three sons, Michael of Rochester, Douglass of Ferrum, Va., and David of Rochester; three daughters, Sharon Beckingham of Boyton Beach, Fla., Lisa Sears of Rochester, and Susan Reddington of Frisco, Texas; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
