STRAFFORD - Jillian Shillaber, 44, passed away Thursday February 19, 2026, at her home following a two-year battle with a rare form of brain cancer.

Born September 7, 1981, she was the daughter of Steven Luongo and Lois Flood.

Jillian was a woman of deep faith who loved God and her family. After her relationship with Jesus, her husband and children were her world, and she loved spending time with those friends and family who were closest to her and she brought joy to every gathering. She was known for her sense of humor and ability to bring a smile to people's faces. She also loved spending time in the sun and at the beach, or enjoying a sweet treat.

Professionally, Jillian held a B.S. in psychology from New York University and a Ph.D. in school psychology and counseling from the University at Buffalo. She held positions in a school system, teaching at the university level, and working in an autism research center prior to entering private practice. While her career was once central to her life, recently she spent most of her time focusing on her roles as a wife and mother.

Members of her family include her husband Craig Shillaber and her three children Timothy, Nathan and Hope Shillaber of Strafford, NH; her mother Lois Flood of Farmingdale, NY; her grandparents Ray and Mary Flood of Farmingdale, NY; and her siblings Philip Luongo, Samantha Joannou and Christopher Luongo, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father Steven Luongo.
