MILTON - Joanne Burnham, 73, of Milton was granted her angel wings on Tuesday, October 11, 2016, while surrounded by family and friends that Joanne had touched in very memorable ways.
"We overcome our sorrow by putting love with it. We overcome the power of death by finding God within it." Proverbs 3: 4 & 5.
Born in 1943 in Haverhill, Mass. Joanne was known for her unconditional love, faith and warm smile that lit up the room. Most of her time was devoted to the Nute Ridge Bible Chapel Church and giving back to her community.
Joanne's greatest love was spending time with her family. She enjoyed socializing, dancing, holidays and get togethers. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Joanne was the beloved wife of Maurice Burnham, daughter of John Borisko and Jean Braley Borisko Burke, sister to Judy Bergeron and Sandra Sheehan. Devoted mother to Glenn Burnham and his wife Cassandra, Jill Pelletier and her husband Brian, Keith Burnham and his wife Tracie and Gary Burnham and his wife Claudine. She was a loving grandmother of eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
