ROCHESTER - John Wade, 74, of Rochester, died on April 3, 2023, after battling a long illness holding his daughters hands.

He was a hard dedicated worker at the Passport Center in Portsmouth.

He was a Past Exalted Ruler of the Rochester Elks.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Before he got sick he would take trips to New York to hunt with his brother in laws and father in law.

One of John's fondest memories was going to Myrtle Beach, S.C., with his best friend Bill LaPlante to celebrate their shared birthdays. They enjoyed playing golf at many different golf courses. Unfortunately John's health started declining and he wasn't able to play golf anymore.

He leaves behind his wife of 43 years, Leona Wade; his daughters Tammi LeBrasseur-Cahoon and her husband David of Rochester, Faith Hammond and her husband Charles of Middleton, Tammy Morel of Manchester, sons Jeffrey Wade of Hampton and Christopher Wade of Pennecook; a sister Karen Wade of Corpus Christi Texas. 27 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents Bruce and Helen Wade, his sister Victoria McCraney and brother James Wade.
