ROCHESTER - Joseph T. Gray, 85, of 60 Monadnock Drive died Friday June 24, 2016, at Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a short illness.
He was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Pittsfield, Mass. the son of Joseph and Adria (Brown) Gray.
He graduated from Concord High School, Class of 1948 then went on to graduate UNH, Class of 1952 then served in the Air Force. He was a retired salesman who worked for Craftmans Display.
Joseph has resided in Rochester since 1995 previously living in Pompton Plains, N.J. An avid reader and great story teller, he enjoyed talking and listening to people. He enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the North Jersey Country Club for many years in Wayne, N.J., where he was also a bartender. He was a member of the Rochester Elks #1393.
Members of his family include his wife of 62 years, Joan (Ritchie) Gray; daughters, Kathryn Fitz and Margery Schiesswohl both of Vernon, N.J.; grandchildren, Stephanie, William, Kelly, Johnny; brother, Edward Jones, Tucson, Ariz.; and several nieces and nephews.
