SOMERSWORTH - Judith "Judy" A. Olsen, 71, of Somersworth, died Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital due to complications from cancer. She was born August 2, 1947 in Dover, the daughter of Albert and Shirley (Harrison) Moreau and has resided in this area all of her life.
Judy was a tax preparer having worked many years at H & R Block prior to owning her own franchise of Jackson-Hewitt Tax Service in Dover. She had a keen mind, amazing memory, and a warm, loving soul.
Members of her family include her husband of 31 years, Bernie Olsen of Somersworth; her son, Michael Frampton of Dover; her granddaughter, Michelle Frampton and her partner, Joseph Staples Jr., of Lebanon Maine; her great-grandchildren Braxton and Maddox Staples of Lebanon; her sister, Janice Hughes and her husband, Robert of Rochester; stepson Ted Olsen of Suquamish, Wash.; stepdaughter Jennifer and her husband Matt Koener of Lee; and her step grandchildren Cole and Hayden Spires, Matthew, Ellie and Addie Koener, all of Lee. Judy loved all her family and extended family as her own.
Judy enjoyed traveling with Bernie to each of their conventions, time at Pemaquid Pt/New Harbor Maine, Bingo, Foxwoods, and rides "to nowhere." In retirement, she and Bernie put their own spin on "snowbirds," driving to Las Vegas with their cats for a six month stay. They enjoyed three such most wonderful times while her health allowed.
She was predeceased by her parents and young sister Joann.
