ROCHESTER - Juliet Estelle Dewing died peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, and the sound of her grandson playing his guitar, on Friday evening, September 23, 2016, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover, N.H., at the age of 76. Juliet was born one of 11 children, on March 11, 1940, in Somersworth, N.H., to Joseph Roy and Emma (Bolduc) Roy.
She graduated from school in Somersworth, N.H., in June, 1961. In November of 1961 Juliet and Robert K. Dewing were married after being set up on a blind date and spending several months together. They had three beautiful children who adored everything about her. Juliet retired from Textron in Dover, N.H., where she spent 22 years as a loyal employee.
Juliet was devoted to her family. She enjoyed spending lots of time camping, going to York Beach, cooking, baking, and shopping. The thing that Juliet was most passionate about was people. She would do anything to help any one out. She was an amazing, creative woman with a heart of gold.
Juliet is survived by her husband Robert K. Dewing of Gonic, N.H.; her daughter, Nikki Diamond of Rochester, N.H.; her son, Michael Dewing of Middleton, N.H. She will also be missed by her grandsons Aaron Pelley of Rochester, N.H., and Cotey Dewing of Springvale, Maine. Juliet is preceded in death by her eldest loving daughter Joanne Pelkey Dewing of Rochester, N.H.
