K9 unit, area police sniff out Rochester drug suspects

MIDDLETON, N.H. - Two Rochester man were arrested on Thursday during a traffic stop on Route 153.

Police had gotten information that a drug deal had just gone down and the suspect was driving on Kings Highway toward Farmington.

Middleton Police, with the assistance of Milton Police, made the stop on Route 153 just before Governor's Road around 7:45 p.m.. Assisting police at the scene was Farmington Police, K-9 Raven and his handler, Middleton Police Chief Randy Sobel, according to a Middleton Police press release.

Police seized some 3.5 grams of heroin, packing equipment and a scale.

Albert Senechal, 23, of 8 Morning Glory Lane, was charged with possession of heroin, while Jesse Miller, 33, of 29 Forrest Ave., was charged with transporting marijuana in a motor vehicle.

Due to a prior drug conviction, Senechal faces felony charges that could draw up to 40 years in state prison.

Both men were released on personal recognizance with Senechal's arraignment set for later this month and Miller's in May.
