MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - Karl Wesley Hoff USAF (Ret), 86, husband of Jean Grant Bullen, died Wednesday, February 23, 2016, after a nine year battle with Parkinsons and Alzheimer's diseases.
Born October 7, 1929, Lincoln, N.H. Predeceased by his wife Betty Jean McWhinnie, parents Frances McCormick and Grant Wesley Hoff, and Brother Gerald Hoff.
Karl graduated Plymouth Teacher's College 1951 and NH Technical, applied sciences 1980. Karl entered aviation cadet training 1952 serving 20 years with the USAF with two years Vietnam. A resident of Milton, N.H., he enjoyed hunting, fishing and involvement with the VFW, MOAA, Order of the Daedalians #53, Parker Lodge No. 97. Later in life he resumed his time and talent to clarinet playing with Seacoast Wind Ensemble, Strafford Wind Symphony, Epsom Town Band and studied at Concord Community MS performing at many of their student recitals.
Karl is survived by his children Lynn Wesley (Jo); Karl Douglas (Marcy); Granddaughter Jennifer (Cameron) great grandchildren Sophia, Reese and Dimitri, his daughters Cynthia and Deborah Hoff, Niece Joanne (Ben) Wilson, Nephew Jonathan Hoff (Shanta) and Brother in law William McWhinnie (Lou) as well as Karl's wife Jean Bullen and her family Wilbur III (Kathy) Shannon, Rebecca, Douglas (Shari) Gavan, Derrik (Kerry) Claire, David (Tracey) Christopher, Brian and Brendan.
