Kathleen Brown ... enjoyed making homemade pizza

ROCHESTER - Kathleen (Kathy) A. Brown, 59, died on Friday, April 15, 2022 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester after a brief illness. Born December 12, 1962 in Dover, she was the daughter of Leon and Lois (Sunderland) Tanguay.

Kathy had lived in Barrington for the majority of her life and was previously employed as a lead production and underwriting assistant for Liberty Mutual in Portsmouth for 17 years, followed by several years as an administrative assistant at Profit Tools in Lee. Kathy enjoyed spending time with her family; including going on shopping adventures with her mother, sharing stories over drinks on her deck with her daughters, having movie dates and making homemade pizza with her grandchildren, and going out to see friends with her husband. She loved summer weather and searching for shells on the beach, as she most recently did during a trip to Florida with her husband earlier this year. Kathy loved rock and roll music, particularly '80s rock, with her favorite bands being Guns N' Roses and AC/DC. She also had a love for horror movies and books, especially anything by Stephen King. She loved hosting family and friends for get-togethers and was well known for her annual Memorial Day parties. Kathy's infectious smile would light up a room, she made friends everywhere she went, and she always had stories that made her family and friends laugh.

She is survived by her husband Roger Brown of Barrington; children, Michelle A. Aiken of Barrington and Melissa A. Aiken of Barrington; mother, Lois Tanguay of Barrington; and three grandchildren Zachary, Matthew, and Lily. She was predeceased by her father, Leon Tanguay.
