DOVER - Kathleen E. Morrison, 63 died peacefully on May 27, 2025, at her home in Dover, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 23, 1962, to Anne and William Morrison, Kathy's deep connection to her hometown shaped her life. She attended Garrison Elementary School and graduated from Dover High School in 1980 before continuing her education at Macintosh College.

In 1982 and 1984, she welcomed her children, Christopher Hart and Emily Hart. As she nurtured and guided them, she co-founded Hart Plumbing and Heating, overseeing its operations for 23 years while raising her family in Greenland and Newington.

In 2006, Kathy returned to Dover, dedicating herself to civic leadership with the same passion and integrity that defined her life. With her partner, Robert Carrier, she worked to enrich the city she cherished. Over the years, she played a leadership role in shaping the community, serving on the Dover Recreation Advisory, the Dover School Board, Dover 400th Anniversary Committee.

Kathy is survived by her partner, Bob Carrier of Dover; her mother, Anne of Dover, her children, Chris of North Hampton, Emily and her partner, David of Wells ME; her step children Christopher and Conor Carrier; her cherished grandchildren, Nikohl Aleman and her partner Brady, Kayleb Aleman, and Aibhne "Evy" Fell. Also her brothers Mike, Bill and her sister Sue; and of course, her loyal dog, Milo. Kathy was pre-deceased by her father, William Morrison, and her brother, Melvin Morrison.
