STRAFFORD - Kermit E. Wagner died from cancer at home in Strafford with family by his side on October 14, 2021.

Born in Hershey, Pa., on July 28, 1938 to Kermit A. and Vera (Heisey) Wagner, Kermit was in the Air Force and worked as a pressman at the Portsmouth Herald. He retired in 1994 from the Portsmouth Shipyard after 25 years as an x-ray weld reader in the UT Shop, then a couple of years at Salmon Falls Precision in Rochester.

A member of the American Legion Post 7, life member of the Elks Lodge 1393, and the Victory Club in Rochester.
