ROCHESTER - Michael's Treasure 603 Foundation recently announced the scheduling of a Race to Serve, a 5k and 10k family-focused race for walkers and runners of all ages. The races will start at Holy Rosary Church on North Main Street at 9 a.m. on Labor Day, rain or shine.

According to organizers, there will be a bouncy house for young children, thanks to PIP Rental. Participants can also enjoy free breakfast and coffee thanks to Middleton Lumber and Aroma Joe's.

Along with individual competitors, teams are encouraged to compete for the Team Spirit Award. The Kids Fun Race goes through a bouncy house (kids 7 and under). Kids are welcome to play in the bouncy house when the race isn't in progress.

Bib and tee shirt pick-up start at 7:30 am. Participants are encouraged to sign up early. Refreshments and awards will be available after the race. Proceeds support many acts of service and charities within the Rochester area.
