Lebanon Candidates Night forum set for Thursday

LEBANON - A Candidates Night forum featuring those running for selectman and the budget committee is scheduled for Thursday beginning at 7 p.m. at the Lebanon Elementary School.

All three selectmen candidates have agreed to be there, and budget committee hopefuls have also been invited.

The format will allow budget committee candidates to speak for up to three minutes on their qualifications, and goals if elected.

Selectman candidates will have a short introductory round after which audience members will be selected at random to ask a question of a specific candidate or all of them, after which all three will have a short time to respond.

Lastly selectmen candidates will be allowed a brief closing remark.

Candidates running for selectman include Richard “Chip” Harlow, Corinna Cole and Royce Heath.

Candidates running for budget committee include Jeri Basko, Gil Gerrish, Karen Gerrish (not the select chair), Tom Torno and Becky Batchelder.

Election Day is June 10.
