Lebanon man wanted in N.H. nabbed by Maine troopers

LEBANON, Maine - A man wanted on New Hampshire fugitive from justice charges was taken into custody on Sunday in Lebanon.

Richard Jacques, 32, of Lebanon, was arrested by Maine State Police Cpl. Kyle Wells and Trooper Anna Ritland, and transported to York County Jail where he will stay while awaiting extradition back to New Hampshire.

Wells initially spotted a vehicle associated with Jacques and a man walking away from the vehicle who resembled him at a Carl Broggi Highway residence around 10 a.m. while on routine patrol.

He then returned with Ritland to make the arrest.

Jacques was wanted on a probation violation in connection with a fentanyl possession conviction.
