LEBANON - Element Machine Tools, with locations in Lebanon and Livermore Falls, is celebrating its first full year of operation with completion of a line Vertical Machining Centers capable of up to 6 axes. They are currently offering six variations of machining centers directed at the educational, general machining and high production manufacturing facilities. The machines are powered by the CARBON CNC control developed by Element Machine Tools. It is based on the MACH4 Industrial software produced by Newfangled Solutions, another Maine based company.
"We are currently in development of several more machine models and other machine technologies that will arrive in year two" said Tom Lamontagne, founder of Element Machine Tools. "We have dedicated the first year to developing and prototyping affordable, yet high quality products that span a wide range of industries. Next year our new products will continue to expand on the same philosophy and we will also begin R&D on a machine completely designed and built in Maine".
Ben Brown, VP Sales and Marketing, says "initial sales activity has been strong with many potential customers anxiously awaiting completion of our first production machines. Our first two machines will be shipped and installed with our customer in early April and others will be coming right behind them. We are currently developing a distribution network and looking forward to a very strong second year."
Element Machine Tools is a full service provider of specialized CNC manufacturing equipment for niche markets. Owners say its goal is to break the mold of what is expected from typical machine tool builders and distributors by providing unique solutions.
