LEBANON - A Lebanon Boy Scout's Eagle project aims to give folks a place to perch.

Colby Amidon, 15, hopes to have a set of bleachers built so soccer moms and dads can take a seat while watching their children play at Bull Field next to Hanson School.

Amidon, who wants the bleachers up by the end of the month, has already raised the money to pay for the material, including a car wash and bake sale last week that raised $720.

Amidon is a member of Lebanon Boy Scout Troop 369 which is led by Scoutmaster Norm Sirois Jr.

Amidon's mom, Shelley, said on Friday that the bleachers will be located between the parking lot and Field 1, will comprise four rows and should seat about 50.

Colby Amidon, who is entering his sophomore year at Noble High, also plans to build two hexagon-shaped picnic tables for the field.
