SANFORD - A Lebanon woman was arrested early Thursday after Sanford police responded to a domestic violence call on Montreal Street around 3:15 a.m.
Jessica D. Somers, 21, of 160 Lower Middle Road, had entered her former residence at 24 Montreal St. and assaulted an occupant of the residence, Sanford Deputy Chief Tim Strout said today.
According to Strout, it is alleged that Somers struck the victim in the head with a glass bottle. The victim was treated at Southern Maine Health Care in Sanford for a laceration to the head.
Somers was charged with aggravated assault, a Class B crime, which can result in several years imprisonment.
She was booked and later made bail.
