Let the games begin: Youngsters of all ages enjoy a taste of high-end gaming

ROCHESTER - Supply issues finally behind them, Generations Arcade opened on Saturday with free game playing available across all their platforms, from classics like Ms. Pacman to Atari to Xbox and Playstation.
The grand opening also included free food and drink.
The owner, 17-year-old Matthew Albion, said he was pleased with the turnout, with about 40 showing up by around 1 p.m.
Two of the scores of mostly young people enjoying the gaming included Elijah Hunt and David Dascoli, both of Rochester, who were playing Hollow Night on an Xbox.
"It's fun to play a new game on a big TV," said Hunt.
"I like it cause I get to play an Xbox," agreed Dascoli.

Albion had hoped to have his arcade open for the December school vacation, but supply chain issues with all the necessary electronics caused him to wait till this weekend.

The grand opening continues today from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. with more free play. A special Membership Day Pass will be available on Monday.
Generations Console Arcade is located at 39 South Main St. behind Postal Center USA.
