Little Falls Bridge Road finally now open after weeklong delay

ROCHESTER - Little Falls Bridge Road is again open between Chestnut Hill and Farmington roads.

The bridgework and ongoing repairs were delayed several days due to unanticipated issues.

The roadway was officially opened on Wednesday around 5 p.m.

The work on the Little Falls Bridge Road Bridge consisted of bridge deck repairs, installation of a new barrier membrane, hot bituminous pavement, replacement of the expansion joint, resetting granite curb, and approach guardrail replacement, according to a release on April 28.

A full closure of the bridge was required during construction.
