ROCHESTER - In its first big production since Covid began. The Rochester Opera House is welcoming Sole City Dance presenting The Nutcracker this weekend. This classic holiday tale has become a regional favorite! This soaring story, framed by Tchaikovsky's legendary score, captures the wonder of the season.
When asking Anthony Ejarque, ROH Director if there would be any restrictions due to the uptick in Covid cases his response was "The only thing that's really different is that we're actually doing a show this year! You may recall that we got hit with a 300 seat restriction, plus the Covid shutdown. So the fact that were open at all is a miracle!"
"At this time the ROH are just recommending masks and vaccines," he added.
Streaming option available for the Saturday, 7 p.m. performance. Purchase streaming link here: https://www.crowdcast.io/e/sole-city-dance-presents-2
