ROCHESTER - Louann Mann Pierce, 78, of Victoria Circle died peacefully at Pinnacle of North Berwick, Maine, after a period of failing health.

She was born June 30, 1943 in Rochester, to Orman and Germaine (Maxfield) Mann. Louann was a lifelong resident of Rochester and had worked many years as a bookkeeper and in the school department for the City of Rochester.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star. She enjoyed doing crafts such as crewel, sewing, and knitting.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, David Pierce; daughter, Jill and husband Peter Miltner, Rochester; grandchildren, Peter M. Miltner, Jr, Ashley Miltner, Alan Jacobs, Joshua and Joel Miltner; brother, Dwight and wife Glenda Mann of Katy, TX.; sister, Joyce Gordon of Keene, and several nieces.
