ROCHESTER - Lucy Bleau, 68, of Riverlawn Avenue died Jan. 1, 2022, at the Rochester Manor after a period of failing health.

Born March 14, 1953, in Portugal to Humberto and Maria (Costa) Mota.

Lucy had lived in Rochester since 1978 after moving from Somerville and Cambridge Mass. Lucy was faithful but quiet in her strong love for God and Jesus. Lucy enjoyed going to Mass at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary in Rochester, she loved her Job at Lydall as an HR Specialist. Lucy loved and adored her two granddaughters, whom she never missed an opportunity to spend time with and spoiled with affection. Lucy's generous spirit was neverending, she seldom thought of herself, always preferring to take care of family, friends, and colleagues whenever the need arose.

Members of her family include her devoted husband of 44 years, George Bleau Sr. of Rochester, who loved and adored her dearly; her son, George Bleau Jr, and his wife Stephanie of Newmarket, her granddaughters; Denali and Finley Bleau both of Newmarket, her siblings; Jose Mota of Cambridge, Grace Correia of Taunton Mass., Emmanuel Mota of Florida, and John Mota of Stoneham, Mass.; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
