11-4-13 Tpr. Adam Schmidt was running traffic in Lebanon and stopped JUSTIN SPRAGUE (22 y.o.) of Shapleigh for a defective plate light. A license check on SPRAGUE showed that his license was suspended for failure to pay fines. SPRAGUE was cited for the OAS infraction.

11-6-13 Tpr. Adam Schmidt responded to a structure fire in Lebanon. While Tpr. Schmidt was speaking with the tenant, PETER GALENO (36 y.o.) he admitted to having a marijuana grow inside of the residence. GALENO admitted to growing approximately 41 Marijuana plants. 26 Marijuana plants were recovered from the residence. GALENO was summonsed for Cultivating Marijuana Class D. GALENO did not have a Medical Marijuana card.

11-6-13 Tpr. Adam Schmidt responded to Lebanon for an abandoned motor vehicle accident. After conducting an investigation it was determined that BRINN PAGE (21 y.o.) of Sanford was the operator and sole occupant of the vehicle. PAGE was summonsed for Failure to Notify Owner of Property Damage Class E and Failure to Report Accident by Quickest Means Class E.

11-7-13 Sgt. Robert Burke, Tpr. Lawrence Rose, and Tpr. Kyle Wells responded to 64 Chadbourne Ridge Road, Hollis for a report of two intoxicated males. While en route, the Troopers learned that a male inside of the residence had been stabbed by one of the intoxicated males. Once the Troopers arrived on scene, the residents advised that the two suspects had fled in a small car. Tpr. Rose remained on scene while Sgt. Burke and Tpr. Wells checked the surrounding area for the suspects. Sgt. Burke made contact with one of the neighbors whom provided information on the suspect vehicle. Tpr. Rose was able to provide a suspect description to Tpr. Wells as he was checking the area. The vehicle was later located at the Lil Mart in Hollis by Tpr. Wells. Sgt. Burke arrived on scene and both of the Troopers observed the suspect inside of the store. The Troopers made entry into the store and advised the suspect to get on the ground. The suspect was taken into custody in a high risk manner and placed into handcuffs without incident. The male whom was later identified as JOHN SICILIANI (27 y.o.) was charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Threatening, and Criminal Mischief and is being held at York County Jail on $25,000 bail. The second suspect was located at the residence by Tpr. Rose and was identified as TODD THOMAS (44 y.o.) THOMAS was transported to Goodall Hospital for his injuries and was later released into the Troopers’ custody. THOMAS was transported to York County Jail where he was charged with VCR and Assault.

11-8-13 Tpr. Kyle Wells stopped a vehicle on Rt. 202, Lebanon for having both plate lights out. The passenger, DOUGLAS DALTON (45 y.o.) of Lebanon was arrested on an outstanding warrant. DALTON was also found to be in possession of a usable amount of marijuana.

11-9-13 Tpr. Jeremy Forbes arrested a TRAVIS WAKEFIELD (23 y.o. from Lyman) on a probation violation at his home. Per his probation he could not consume any alcohol. His BAC was a 0.17%. Tpr. Maguire assisted at the scene.

11-9-13 @ 0035 hrs., Tpr. Justin Cooley stopped DEVAN BARTLETT of Freeport for 84/65 and excessively poor operation. FST’s were conducted which ultimately led to BARTLETT being arrested for OUI. BARTLETT submitted to an intox test revealing a BAC of .15% and was subsequently charged with speeding and OUI.

11-10-13, Sgt. Robert Burke responded to the exit 35 on the Maine Turnpike for a report that a vehicle had struck a tree and was on fire. Upon arrival, Sgt. Burke secured the scene as the vehicle was fully engulfed and he was unable to get to the occupants due to the extreme heat and fire. Sgt. Burke assisted the Troop G units as they investigated the fatal car crash.
