Male victim of suspicious death in Laconia identified

CONCORD - An investigation into a Laconia man whose death was ruled suspicious continues today.

John Anderson, 62, was found deceased during a welfare check by officers at his apartment at 217 South Main St. around 8:40 a.m. on Tuesday.

As part of the investigation an autopsy will be performed today to find the exact cause and manner of death, according to a release from the Attorney Generals Office.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to call the New Hampshire State Police tip line at 603-MCU-TIPS (603-628-8477). Detectives are also interested in hearing from anyone with information about Mr. Anderson's whereabouts and activities, and any activity at the residence, on or between April 12, 2026 and April 14, 2026.
