Man arrested for drunk driving four times in two years sentenced to year in jail

DOVER - A Rochester man arrested for four DUIs in two years pleaded guilty on Wednesday to DWI (second offense) and was sentenced to 12 months in Strafford County Jail.

However, after his acceptance into an inpatient facility, Lawrence D. Ouellette Sr., 65, of Trade Wind Drive, will see the remainder of his sentence suspended on good behavior.

Ouellette pleaded guilty to a single charge of DUI in connection with his arrest on June 15 in Barrington. Other charges of driving after suspension, open container, drug possession and violating a bail order were dropped.

Ouellette was arrested in April 20 for DUI (2nd) and resisting arrest; on Feb. 29 for DUI, open container and driving after suspension; and on Aug. 31, 2018, for DUI, driving after suspension and open container.
