SOMERSWORTH - A report of a male brandishing a weapon at a Somersworth address on Easter Sunday led to the arrest of a city man on drug and weapons charges.

Somersworth Police got involved when they responded to a residence in the city for a report of two males, one of whom had brandished a firearm.

As a result of a brief investigation police were able to develop probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the residence where they seized three handguns, some $1,500.00 in cash, more than 30 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 20 grams of methamphetamines, five grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, suboxone strips, various pills and a quantity of marijuana along with various other assorted packaging, weighing materials and munitions.

Donovan Molisee, 35, of 12 Broad St., Somersworth, was charged with being a felon in possession, violations of the controlled drug act and breach of bail as he was bailed less than a month ago on an unrelated matter.

He was jailed pending an arraignment today in Strafford Superior Court.

Somersworth Police say more arrests are expected.
