ROCHESTER - A 20-year-old Rochester man was taken into custody after police say he was found with drugs in his possession during a welfare check in a downtown bank parking lot on Tuesday.

Police first got the call around 5:35 p.m. for a driver in a parked car in the Citizen's Bank parking lot at 1 North Main St. who seemed "out of it," according to police dispatch. When police arrived they found two males passed out in the car.

As two officers tried to roust them they came two, with one being charged with two counts of possession of controlled drugs initially thought to be heroin and/or fentanyl and suboxone.

Dylan Boston, of 54 Limestone Lane, was charged with two felony counts of possession of controlled drugs.

He was released on personal recognizance with an arraignment date set for later this month.
