Man killed in Lebanon crash when vehicle overturns after hitting stone wall

LEBANON, Maine - State Police say a man died Thursday morning on Old Rochester Road when his vehicle overturned after leaving the roadway and struck a stone wall.

Maine State Police responded to the crash around 9:40 a.m. and learned en route that rescue personnel were performing CPR on the patient. The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead shortly after troopers arrived.

The identity of the man is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Police believe he failed to negotiate a curve, and the vehicle went off the road, striking a stone wall, causing the vehicle to overturn.
