Manchester man, 45, arrested in Brookline shooting

BROOKLINE - A Manchester man was arrested late Wednesday in the shooting of a 44-year-old man in Brookline earlier in the day.
Police responded to the area of Route 13 and Townsend Hill Road in Brookline around 6:30 a.m. for a report of a shooting. Upon arriving officers found Carlos Quintong suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Quintong was transported to a local hospital where he is receiving medical treatment.
Robert Gagnon, 45, of Manchester, was arrested and charged with one count of attempted murder.
Gagnon is expected to be arraigned in Hillsborough County Superior Court in Nashua. A date has not yet been scheduled by the Court.
