ROCHESTER - Marilyn Christie died on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital due to a long illness
Marilyn Christie was born on Jan. 1,1931 in Dover, she was the daughter of William Hamilton and Mabel (Upham) Hamilton.
Marilyn worked for Clarastat Mfg. for 16 ½ yrs. She also babysat many children over the years. She enjoyed doing word finder books, knitting and doing puzzles. She especially love being with her family, and having many cookouts in the summer.
She is survived by her two sons, Paul Christie Jr. of Rochester and his wife Debbie; John Christie Sr. and fiancé Terri Crowley of Wakefield, and a daughter in law Jen Christie of Milton. She also left behind seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband, Paul Christie Sr., who passed in 1991 along with her son, Arthur Christie Sr., who recently died on Jan. 18, 2018. She also had nine brothers and sisters who have passed, with one surviving sister Gloria Perreault of Rollinsford.
Marilyn will be missed by many for her kind loving giving heart, and her sense of humor.
