MILTON - Mary Louise (Dumas) Burke of Milton, died on Friday Jan., 6, 2023, at Wentworth Douglass Hospital in Dover. Mary was born on June 24, 1948, to Ralph and Pearl Dumas in Peabody, Mass. She married the love of her life Joseph Burke Sr on Nov. 10, 1964, spending their time together raising their family. She was proud to be Mom to her children, prouder still when her grandsons were born, and she became a Nana. Mary could be described as a loving, kind, caring, gentle soul, and was generous to everyone she knew.

Mary loved her family most of all, she was truly happy when her whole family was together for any occasion. She loved going to see her grandsons play sports any chance she had. Mary enjoyed a lot of the little things in life, a swim in the pool on a hot day, reading a good book, doing a puzzle of any kind, watching hummingbirds dance among the flowers, the sound of windchimes in a breeze, sun light through stained glass, beautiful colors of a sunrise or sunset, a ride through the mountains to see the fall colors, time at the ocean feeling sand between her toes, admiring lighthouses of any kind, going out to eat with family and friends at one of her favorite restaurants. She liked watching the Bruins, Patriots, Red Sox and TV shows like NCIS.

Mary was preceded by her parents and her big brother John Dumas. Mary is survived by her Husband, daughters, Pearl (husband Raymond) St Peter, Dawn (husband Michael) Ciccotelli, son, Joseph Burke Jr. Grandsons Niall (wife Kayla) O'Brien and Connel O'Brien. She is also survived by her younger sisters Karen (Husband Glen) Date, Sherie Denis and numerous nieces and nephews.
