ROCHESTER - Mary Louise Barnes died on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at home with her family after a brief illness. Mary was born in Brentwood May 12, 1940, raised in Barrington and resided in Rochester; survived by her husband of 60 years Ronald E. Barnes.
Mary was the daughter of the late John Cook and Louise Cook. She was one of 11 children; three sisters Helen, Arlene and Chris and seven brothers John Jr., Joe, Albert, George, Bob, Ernie and David.
Mary worked for Scalas, Jack Abbots and David's Seafood in Rochester, and was the owner of Mary's Pub in Gonic. Mary loved to cook, knit and crochet.
Family members included are four children, Ronald G. Barnes (wife Jo Ann), Bruce Barnes (wife Adel), Debra (husband David Grondin) and Robert Barnes; grandchildren Kyle Barnes, Ariane Chandler (husband Eric), Ryan Barnes (wife Meighan), Justin Grondin (wife Amy), Jared Barnes (significant other Emalee Merrihew), Kendra Laroche (husband Tyler) and great-grandchildren Cori, Halle, Caiden, Hunter, Lorelie and Talan. She was predeceased by four brothers, John Jr., Joe, Albert and David Cook and grandson Kyle Barnes.
