ROCHESTER - A Massachusetts man was injured on Monday night when he was struck by a car driven by a Lebanon man.

Rochester Police said that around 9:20 emergency personnel responded to South Main Street by the First Methodist Church for a reported accident with a pedestrian.

Officers learned that Stephen Logan, 45, of Salisbury, was crossing South Main Street when he was struck by a Honda Civic that was operated by Cory Hamel, 21, of Lebanon. He was northbound on South Main Street at the time of the collision.

Logan was not in a crosswalk when he was struck, police said. He suffered what are described as nonlife-threatening injuries and was transported to Frisbie Hospital by Frisbie EMS.

Hamel was not injured and his car was not damaged.

Police released nothing more about the accident.
