Matthew S. Hale ... enjoyed kayaking

DOVER - Matthew S. Hale, 43, died on Saturday, January 30, 2021 and is now at peace. He was born October 2, 1977 in Dover, the son of Mitchell and Carol (Connelly) Hale. Matt has resided in this area most of his life.
Matt was a graduate of Saint Thomas Aquinas, in Dover. He served in the Navy on submarine duty in Washington for 3 [1/2] years.
Matt loved spending time outdoors, he loved kayaking and hiking. He enjoyed listening to all types of music and was an avid runner, completing several marathons.
He was loved by many family and friends. Survived by his son, Alex, stepdaughter Adele and former wife, Jennifer Hale of Danville, N.H.; his parents, Mitchell and Carol Hale of Dover, N.H.; his sister Sarah D'Arcy and her husband Jeffrey of Foxborough, Mass.; his brother Robert Hale and wife Heather from Dover; his grandmother Beverly Hale; his aunt Lauren Hale; his uncle Chuck Connelly; and nieces Keira, Kendall and nephew Sean D'Arcy.
