LEBANON - Maxine M. (Pierce) Cole, 68, of West Lebanon Road, died Monday, August 29, 2016, at the Frisbie Memorial Hospital after a long battle with cancer. Born May 12, 1948, in Rochester, N.H., she is the daughter of the late Walter and Pina (Guardino) Pierce.
Maxine is a lifelong resident of Lebanon. She was a homemaker having raised ten children. She was a member of several area churches. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, plants, animals and going on road trips with her husband.
Members of her family include her husband of 47 years Frederick Cole of Lebanon, her sons; Raymond Cole of Gonic, Clifford Cole of Michigan, Kenneth Cole of Lebanon, and Frederick Cole Jr., and his wife Donna of Lebanon, her daughters; Tammy Marr and her husband Bill of Berwick, Maine, Rosetta Murray of Springfield, Mass., Lisa Brittle and her husband Edward of Waterboro, Maine and Viola Cole of Portland, Maine, her brothers; Harry Pierce and his wife Grace of Rochester and Rodney Pierce of Lebanon, her sisters; Kathy Rigazio, Mary Jewell and Jeanie Downs all of Rochester, N.H., 23 grandchildren and several Great-grandchildren, she is predeceased by her sons; Matthew and Harold Cole and a brother, Frank Pierce.
