Mayoral, City Council hopefuls take stage at tonight's Candidate Forum at City Hall

ROCHESTER - Candidates for office in the city of Rochester will have their best shot to win over voters tonight during a televised Candidate Forum at City Hall.
The forum, hosted by the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, will be televised on Atlantic Broadband Channel 26, Comcast Channel 22 and rebroadcast several times prior to Election Day. It will also be available on-demand.

The forum is an opportunity for voters to learn more about the candidates seeking election and/or re-election. The event will feature candidates for City Council, followed by candidates for mayor, who will answer questions from a media panel and the public on various local issues.

Meet the Candidates for City Council
All candidates from each ward have been invited to present their positions on issues. Candidates in contested races will answer questions from a media panel followed by questions taken from the audience or the public.
8 p.m.
Meet the Candidates for Mayor
All candidates for mayor have been invited to present their positions on issues. They will answer questions from a media panel followed by questions from the audience or the public.
The public is invited to tune in live, or attend in person tonight at City Hall from 6:30-9 p.m.
Voters can also submit candidate questions to forum@rochesternh.net. Questions can also be called in to (603) 335-7557, during the live event only.

Former Rochester mayor TJ Jean will serve as moderator. Members of the media who will question candidates include Matt Mowry from Business NH Magazine and Harrison Thorp of The Rochester Voice.

A Rochester School Board Candidate Forum will be presented by Rochester Listens on Wednesday. It will also be held in City Council chambers beginning at 6:30 p.m.
