Michael Ruel, 50, died peacefully at his home on July 30, 2023, after a long battle with diabetes and heart disease. He was born Nov. 2, 1972, to George and Jacqueline Ruel.

Mike attended Horne Street School and Dover High School. After graduating he worked in the plumbing industry as a fork lift operator.

He enjoyed the North Country, especially Big Diamond and Little Diamond pond for fishing and snowmobiling trips. Mike enjoyed family gatherings and his mom's buffets. He was a great cook and avid Patriots fan and enjoyed football parties with his family. He had a very kind heart for animals.

Mike is preceded in death by his father George Ruel.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother Jackie, Sister: Pam (Marc) Richard of Rochester, Brother Gary (Sabrina) Ruel of Rochester. Nephews Matt (Jessica) Richard of North Carolina, Jeff (Nikki) Richard of Newton, Micah Ruel of Lebanon and niece Krista Gilmore of Lee as well as 4 great nephews : Bryce, Owen & Jacob Richard, Emmett Gilmore and 2 great nieces Regan and Ainsley Ruel.
