WOLFEBORO - The conservation of land on Whiteface Mountain has resulted in a wonderful hiking path that was facilitated by MMRG and the Wolfeboro-Tuftonboro Land Bank, which purchased the property in 2013.

It will be transferred to the Town of Wolfeboro upon completion of a conservation easement to be held by Lakes Region Conservation Trust.
But the 1 mile up-and-back trail is ready to enjoy now. It goes past rock cliffs, giant boulders, old stone walls and over a stone walkway.

After the short steep climb, hikers are rewarded by magnificent views of Mount Chocorua and other White Mountain peaks.
