ROCHESTER - Milton Christopher Greenleaf, 62, of 21 Fox Lane died unexpectedly Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 at Frisbie Memorial Hospital.
He was born Aug. 8, 1953 in Nashua, N.H., the son of Shirley (Dyson) Greenleaf Brown and the late Milton C. Greenleaf. He has resided in Rochester since 1979 previously living in Milton, N.H. He was employed as a chartered financial consultant for Bankers Life and Casualty out of Concord, N.H. He was a member of the Community Church of Milton, N.H. He and his wife Alice founded Soldiers Helpers in New England in 2003 and was actively involved with Honor Flight New England as well as sending hundreds of care packages to our deployed troops. They were honored by the Celtics' for "Heroes Among Us" and Nute High School Wall of Distinction. Chris enjoyed playing cards.
Members of his family include the love of his life, his wife of 41 years, Alice (Henner) Greenleaf; his mother, Shirley (Dyson) Greenleaf Brown, sisters, Deborah Bates, Wendy and Cynthia Greenleaf, Donna Grzywacz; brother, Daniel and wife Diana Greenleaf; brother-in-law, Richard Henner and wife Jane; sister-in-law, Shirley Downs and husband Art and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his beloved dog, Brandy. He was predeceased by two other very special people, his "Mom" Lil Henner and his brother-in-law, Roland Henner.
