MILTON - A Milton man has been indicted in the possession and sale of heroin in Milton in July.
Larry Savage, 34, of 78 Pineland Park, faces three felony charges, including possession, possession with intent to sell and sales of the narcotic.
The indictments handed down earlier this week list former convictions on related charges stemming from a 2005 case in New York State.
Savage was arrested on the latest charges on July 18.
Possession with intent to sell and selling the drug are both Special Felonies, with 7½-15 year sentences each and fines up to $400,000 in all. Possession carries the same jail time plus up to a $50,000 fine.
An indictment is not an indication of guilt, only that a grand jury has found sufficient evidence to move forward with a trial.
