Milton Road convenience store robbed at knifepoint

ROCHESTER - Rochester Police are on the lookout for a knife-wielding suspect who robbed the Milton Road Lil’ Mart last night.

Police say the on-duty clerk at the 174 Milton Road convenience store reported that a male subject came into the store with a knife in hand.  The suspect was described as being a white male between 5’7’’-5’10’’ tall and weighing 100-140 pounds.  He was wearing dark pants, a dark shirt, tan boots, and light colored gloves.  The suspect was wearing a hunter orange mask which covered his entire head.

The suspect went behind the counter of the store and started removing cigarette packs, according to a Rochester Police press release. He was then chased out of the store by the clerk. The suspect fled northbound on Milton Road with an undetermined amount of cigarettes.

The Rochester Police K-9 Unit responded to the scene to track the suspect, but the search was unsuccessful.
