ROCHESTER - The Milton Road Shell gas station has been robbed yet again, this time by three men, one of whom wielded a knife as the heist went down.

Rochester Police said they got the call early today around 1:30 a.m. for a report of an armed robbery at the store, which has been hit three times now in less than three weeks.

Police say three men entered the store – one brandishing a knife – and demanded money from the store clerk.  One of the suspects is reported to have retrieved three cases of beer from a cooler and then kept a lookout at the door.

After stealing money and beer the suspects fled on foot running toward the back side of the building and headed south on Milton Road. A Rochester Police K9 unit was called in but was unable to pick up a scent.

The beer was found a short distance from the store on Milton Road

The suspect police say held the knife is described as a white male between 18 and 30, wearing a gray sweatshirt, a black and white baseball cap and a face covering.

A second suspect was described as being a white male 18 to 30, wearing a dark colored jacket with a thick white stripe across the chest. He also wore red gloves and had a red hooded sweatshirt on under the jacket. He also wore a red face covering.

The third suspect is described as being a white male 18 to 30 last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt with a large yellow Northface emblem on the front.

Police say while the first suspect ordered the clerk to hand over the money at knife point, the second suspect went to the beer cooler and got the beer. He then stood at the front door as a lookout

After the female clerk handed the cash to the third suspect, all three of them fled out the front door heading through the parking lot toward Rochester.

No one was hurt in the robbery.

Meanwhile, Police on Saturday arrested a Gonic man in connection with the June 25 robbery at the same store.

Jonathan Wilson, 21, of 288 Blackwater Road, was charged with felony armed robbery and is being held at the Strafford County Jail pending an arraignment in Rochester District Court later today.

Wilson is alleged to have had an accomplice in the robbery, and police have indicated more arrests in the case are expected.

The lone knife-wielding suspect in the July 5 robbery is also still at large.
