Milton teen injured in two-vehicle crash in Rochester

ROCHESTER - A Milton woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash today in Rochester.

The accident occurred around 11:35 a.m. at the intersection of Blackwater and England roads when police say Katie Brokus, 31, of Rochester, was driving a Toyota Corolla on England Road headed toward Blackwater Road and failed to stop at a stop sign.

The Toyota then struck a Hyundai Tucson operated by Hannah Corriveau, 19, of Milton. Corriveau was transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital with what were described as nonlife threatening injuries.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The accident remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this incident should contact Officer Hatch of the Rochester Police Department.
