Missing since Wednesday, he's mostly deaf and needs meds

SANFORD - Sanford Police are seeking the public's help today in finding a missing elderly man last seen on Wednesday afternoon.

Romeo Lapierre, who is mostly deaf and suffers from various medical problems for which he needs medication, was last seen when he dropped his wife off on Pilgrim Lodge Lane in West Gardiner around 3 p.m. on Wednesday. He was supposed to return home to Sanford the same day.

When Kimberly Kramer-Lapierre contacted neighbors to check on him, she found that he had not returned home. Lapierre, who lives in the downtown area, was driving a white 2000 Chevrolet Blazer with a Maine passenger car registration of 788HF.
